Opportunity Skills Academy, Opportunity Café, and Opportunity Originals are interconnected initiatives of the Rescue and Relief Foundation in Kolkata. The Skills Academy provides vocational training and employment-focused skills to intellectually disabled and orphaned young adults.
Opportunity Café, India's first café staffed by intellectually disabled individuals, creates inclusive employment opportunities and fosters community engagement through delicious food and inspiring service.
Opportunity Originals is a socially conscious apparel brand, offering sustainable fashion while employing these young adults. Together, these initiatives promote dignity, financial independence, and societal inclusion, challenging perceptions and transforming lives through meaningful empowerment and employment opportunities for marginalized youth.
